A fabulous and super rare antique Jakob Bengel Art Deco Machine Age chrome and red galalith two part belt buckle. The buckle is still lovely and shiny and it looks so modern and stylish even now – at very nearly 100 years old!
I have threaded a piece of grosgrain ribbon through, to show how it could be worn on a belt, or even on a hat (the hat & ribbon are not included) but it will hopefully give you some ideas.
There is a little bit of surface wear commensurate with age, which is inevitable, but it is in wonderful condition for its age and there is nothing which detracts in any way from its immense charm.
Measures approximately : 43mm x 33mm
or 1.75″ x 1.25″ when closed
