A stylish and understated vintage Art Deco milk glass beads woven necklace, with a stunning diamond paste encrusted clasp. The necklace has been cleaned and is lovely, sparkling and white (unlike many of the yellowing ones you see for sale). It’s unusual in that it has an early fish-hook chrome plated clasp, encrusted with clear diamond pastes. All the stones are present and original to the piece. I love this type of clasp – it’s almost impossible for a necklace to come undone and fall off when wearing one of these. The clasp closes with a reassuring click. The necklace can also be worn ‘back to front’ to show off the clasp. The beads are in wonderful condition with no damage that I can find.
Such a versatile piece, which will go with so many different outfits.
