A Really Bright and Cheerful Little Brooch!
A really pretty and colourful vintage tutti frutti rhinestone star, or flower brooch. All of the rhinestones are present; they are in lovely pastel colours. The rhodium plating is still nice and shiny even now, but there are a few small areas where it has worn a little. Also, there are some signs of old glue, but you don’t tend to notice these things unless studying the enlarged photographs, not when wearing. In my opinion, nothing detracts from its immense charm. You can tell this is an earlier piece because it fastens with a simple early ‘C’ catch and has foiled stones in open back settings.
Tutti Frutti pieces are becoming rarer and rarer and harder to find.
