A beautiful and unusual antique Victorian long necklace, made up of a delicate arrangement of small sea shells and brick red seedpods. Both the shells and the seedpods have a lovely glossy sheen, they create a captivating swishy, jingly sound as the necklace moves. The shells are threaded on the original cat gut thread, which still seems good and strong. There is no clasp – the necklace just goes on over the head and is very easy to wear.
Necklace Measures: 29.5″ or 75cm
Shells measure approximately: 10-16mm length
