A fabulous set of four MONDI, glossy black lucite/resin buttons, with the initial ‘M’ for Mondi, in gold plated metal. Really stand-out and iconic. Signed ‘MONDI’ on the reverse. A super rare and highly collectable set. The brand was favoured by Diana, Princess of Wales.
The Mondi Designer brand was founded in 1967, in Munich, Germany, initially as a knitwear house. The brand was popular thoroughout the 1970’s. 80’s and 90’s, thanks to high [profile customers, like Princess Diana. The brand was taken over in 2005.
Buttons measure: just over ¾” or 20.11mm diameter
