A very charming vintage mid-century sterling silver horse’s head brooch. The subject is elegant and understated, possibly a racehorse, with some nice detail which shows up well with the patina of the silver. The brooch is clearly hand-made, but I can’t find a makers mark. It is stamped 925 for sterling and fastens with a rollover safety catch. There is some surface wear commensurate with age and use, but nothing which detracts in any way from its immense charm.
Measures: 1.5” or 4cm diagonally
