Such a FABULOUS and UNIQUE piece – You Won’t Find Another Like It!
A beautiful antique Bohemian Czech NEIGER BROTHERS Egyptian Revival, Uranium glass, long flapper necklace. The necklace is made up of fabulous uranium carnelian glass oval beads, uranium poured glass beads with stylised markings, and rock crystal glass rondelles. The necklace is hand-knotted, on the original string. The beads themselves are in Excellent Antique Condition, however, there are a couple of ancient repairs to the string. The necklace may benefit from re-threading but the string still seems strong. There is no clasp, the necklace just goes on over the head. Lovely and long, a very elegant length at 43″.
It’s worth noting that the uranium content is totally harmless – apparently there is more uranium in a bottle of mineral water!
The beads appear more orange in some of the photographs than they do in real life – they are carnelian colour.
Everything is ALL ORIGINAL (apart from the old string repair)
