A magnificent vintage Miriam Haskell aurora borealis crystal glass cluster beads floral/shooting star brooch. The brooch is in Superb Condition – in fact it looks as though it has Never been worn! It’s lovely and clean, as well as being fabulously sparkly when it catches the light. The brooch isn’t signed, but this isn’t unusual, as a lot of her work wasn’t signed. Please see penultimate photo of Haskell’s 1965 ‘Confetti’ brooch from the book ‘The Jewels of Miriam Haskell, to show that it is of similar construction, with the wiring and the faceted oval beads at the end of each tendril. This really is a very unique and such an eye-catching piece and I am sure you won’t find another like it!
The metalwork is still fabulously shiny even now. The brooch fastens with a rollover safety catch, which is secure.
