A beautiful antique Art Deco Czech Uranium glass chunky beads choker necklace. Hand-crafted in the old Kingdom of Bohemia. The necklace screams Art Deco with its fabulous cobalt blue and white beads, along with a large clear cut glass crystal bead to the centre. There is a tiny chip to one of the beads, which is old and smooth and mentioned for the sake of accuracy.
The white beads fluoresce magnificently to a brilliant green under UV light. This is due to the trace uranium content, which is miniscule and totally harmless.
The necklace has just been professionally re-threaded, with the original clasp, so it is good and strong and just raring to go now! Those of us who have had a necklace professionally re-threaded will know that it is very costly – so this represents excellent value for money.
A short choker necklace, suitable for a slender neck. The clear crystal bead sits perfectly at the throat.
Measures: 14.5″, or 37cm
