A rare and beautiful Antique WILHELM BECKER 935 solid silver openwork bow brooch, set with sparkling marcasites. This beautiful brooch features a classic floral design, with a rich dark silver patina, which beautifully complements its antique aesthetic. Stamped on the reverse ‘WB’ for Wilhelm Becker of Pforzheim Germany, along with ‘935’ for silver, which is a higher grade than our Sterling silver.
Whilst several of the marcasites are missing, they can easily be replaced and their absence is hardly noticeable when worn. The brooch fastens securely with a safety pin style clasp. The clasp has been lovingly repaired in the distant past; however, this work is not visible from the front. Overall, this piece is in good antique condition, making it a delightful addition to any collection.
