Would make a GORGEOUS GIFT for any Dog Lover!
An utterly charming antique Art Deco carved Bakelite early plastic brooch pin. This adorable dog has an articulated hat which can be worn at a jaunty angle and looks super cute. He has a beady glass eye and hand-painted detail in green, red and black. Some of the paint is a little worn in places, commensurate with age, but I think this just adds to his immense charm.
I have tested this with Simichrome and there was a colour change, also when a small portion was dipped into warm water, it gave off a musty chemical smell.
The brooch fastens with a simple C catch on the reverse.
Suitable for either a Lady or a Gent.
EVERYTHING IS ALL ORIGINAL.
Measures approximately: 2.25″ – 2.5″ or 62mm from tip to toe.
