A beautiful vintage clear diamond rhinestone crystal swag necklace, with a stunning drop at the centre. This looks very much like some of the necklaces worn by Daphne in the Netflix series ‘Bridgerton’. All of the stones are present and original to the piece, as well as being lovely and sparkling. The central princess cut stone and the other emerald cut stones are simply fabulous, foiled and in open back settings, which shows this is an earlier piece.
One or two of the stones have darkened very slightly with age, which is inevitable, but doesn’t detract in any way from its immense charm and is mentioned for the sake of accuracy.
The necklace is rhodium plated, which is a metal of the platinum family, used on high end costume jewellery to prevent tarnishing. This also denotes high quality. The metalwork is still lovely and shiny even now. The necklace fastens with a foldover clasp.
Measures: 16.25″ or 41.5cm, not including the drop
