Vintage Art Deco Enamel Morpho Butterfly Earrings Hand Painted Clip On 1930s Old Stock Upcycled Reworked Miniature Jewellery Unique Wedding Bridal Jewelry Stunning Gift
Circa 1930’s
I have just two pairs of these stunning original Art Deco earrings. They are old stock and still on their original cards. They started life as plain gilded brass earrings, but I have hand-painted them with cold enamels and transformed them into morpho butterflies. This pair is a deep cobalt blue, with iridescent highlights. The other is aqua, with cobalt highlights and all over mermaid iridescence. Choose which you like best. Each pair is adorable and totally unique.
The clips are strong and working well.
There are signs of glue on the reverse and there is a bit of tarnishing to the metal, also on the reverse, due to being kept in storage for so long, but this doesn’t show from the front. There is nothing which detracts from their immense charm and they are in very good condition for their considerable age.
Lovely small miniature size. The wingspan measures: 2cm.
