A beautiful and understated vintage Art Deco clear diamond paste crystal necklace, with a stunning flower drop to the centre. Very much like some of the necklaces worn by Daphne in the Netflix series ‘Bridgerton’. The flower is composed of gorgeous marquise cut stones, these are gold foiled and in open back settings – this shows that it is an earlier piece. Quite often with these open back stones, the gold foil wears off and this spoils the look of the stones, but as you can see from the final photo, the foil is intact. The other stones are bezel set with a lovely scalloped edge, in deep closed back settings. The necklace is on a delicate chrome plated chain, which is still nice and shiny. All the stones are present, sparkling and original to the piece, although one or two have darkened very slightly with age. This doesn’t in my opinion detract in any way from its immense charm. The necklace fastens with a bolt ring clasp.

A very flattering short choker style necklace, intended to be worn at the throat a la Daphne Bridgerton.
Measures: 15.25″ or 38.8cm, so, please do measure your neck to ensure a good fit.
