A FABULOUS vintage mid-century Eloxal panel bracelet. The bracelet is a lovely silvery gold colour, with contrasting black Niello style enamel. It has a fantastic bold Modernist floral design, which is so striking against the black enamel.
The bracelet is made from Eloxal, which is a lightweight aluminium alloy produced in Germany and used for making jewellery and other accessories during the war, when other metals were being used for the war effort. It was still being manufactured right up to the 1970’s. One of the great things about it is that it is lovely and shiny and doesn’t tarnish. Highly Collectable and Sought After now.
The bracelet is very lightweight and easy to wear, it looks much heavier than it actually is. It fastens with a shepherd’s hook clasp.
