A fabulous original vintage Corn on the Cob Majolica Jug, in gorgeous bright yellow and vibrant green, with a wonderful ‘leaf’ handle. The jug has a lovely glossy finish and has been hand-painted. It is glazed inside, so it holds liquid. It’s in great condition, but there are some very small areas around the rim where there is a little glaze loss (please see photos) and a couple on the handle – these really are very small and I don’t think they detract in any way from its immense charm. They could easily be ‘touched up’, but I will leave it to the buyer to do as they choose. There are no cracks and no other damage. I can’t find a stamp anywhere, but it is a quality old piece.
