Vintage MIKIMOTO Cultured Pearls Pearl Necklace Box Rare 1960s Blue Jewellery Box Jewelry Case EMPTY BOX
Circa 1960’s
A Rare and Original Vintage Mikimoto Cultured Pearls necklace box/hard jewellery case. The necklace box is in blue faux leather, with a sumptuous blue velvet pad and an ivory satin lining, adorned with the Mikimoto gold lettering.
Of Note – there is a small mark in the interior, which can be seen above the gold lettering. The hinge is a little ‘clunky’, but it is fully functioning. There is minor surface wear commensurate with age and use, but even taking these minor imperfections into consideration, the case is in wonderful condition for its considerable age. A rare early piece – I have not come across another like it in my research.
